Sports can change a child’s life.
They teach confidence before doubt sets in.
They teach teamwork before isolation takes over.
They teach discipline before the world demands it.
Free Pee Wee Foundation exists to give kids access to those lessons.

Dennis didn’t grow up knowing how to play basketball.
He was smaller than the others. Less experienced. Often overlooked. But he showed up anyway.
As a kid, Dennis learned the game by playing with older boys—watching closely, working harder, and refusing to quit. Day by day, his skills grew. So did his confidence.
In 8th grade, Dennis joined an organized basketball team. As the shortest player on the court, his coach gave him a nickname that would follow him for life:
“Pee Wee.”
What some might have seen as a limitation, Dennis turned into strength.

Dennis was always the little brother—but he had a big heart.
He protected his teammates.
He uplifted others.
He made everyone feel like family.
By high school, Dennis became team captain during his sophomore and junior years—not because he was the biggest, but because he led with heart, loyalty, and discipline.
This is the spirit behind Free Pee Wee Foundation

Dennis carried the lessons of basketball far beyond the court.
He volunteered as a youth basketball coach at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Garden Grove and Fountain Valley—pouring into kids the same way coaches once poured into him.
Basketball was never just a game. It was a way to serve.
Free Pee Wee Foundation was born from that calling.

Free Pee Wee Foundation was created from lived experience, love, and belief.
I’ve seen firsthand how sports can shape a child’s confidence, discipline, and sense of belonging. I’ve seen how one coach, one team, or one opportunity can redirect a young life.
Dennis’s journey—starting as the smallest kid on the court, earning the nickname “Pee Wee,” growing into a leader, and giving back to youth—became the heart of this foundation. His story reflects so many children who feel overlooked, underestimated, or unheard.
Free Pee Wee Foundation exists for those kids.
This is more than a program.
It’s a promise—to believe in children before the world tells them who they are.
With gratitude,
